Texting Friends
1) Received a text message from a friend who just got married last December (I was one of the secondary sponsors), "Are you ready to be a ninang?" =). Fine! She's having a baby and I haven't got a boyfriend yet...EVER! (Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my friend coz she's having a baby. I'm truly happy for her, luv you Ging! It's just that, I think I wanna cry waaaaaaaaaaah)

2) Received a text message from a college barkada, "halu. i just saw my crush 2day. i gues it's just safe 2 asume dat he treats me as a gud friend. hay...". Uhu, heard that before! Well this friend of mine is so pretty, so charming, so nice, so sweet, name it she got it! I'm definitely sure I'm going to hear from her again with a text msg that goes something like this, "halu. like daw nya ako!". Why do some girls get all the luck in the world! (Ok, I'm just bitter but I really wish my good friend Jaica that this guy reciprocates her feelings =))

3) Received a text message from another college barkada, "vane sabihin mo sa akin pangit sya, pangit!" Yah right, as if she needed to beg me to tell her that her fling is so pangit... coz HE IS! Sorry Pamee, just had to say that. Well, the reason of the text? The guy just got married and she's TRYING to get over him... Good luck! hehe

4) Received a text message from another college barkada (you might probably be wondering how many are we in the barkada...we're 12 =)), "Hi, Vane! Jst wana thank u 4 savng my life last satrday. Mis u na.u." Last Saturday while at megamall, I received a call from her. Thought she was gonna say hi or just make chika-chika. Boy was I wrong. First thing she blurted out, "Vane, naaalala mo pa ba yung cash surrender value sa insurance? Di ko na kasi maalala eh tatanungin na ako mamaya nung law prof ko eh." Nice.... it's been almost 4 yrs since I had to do anything with accounting (I work in an IT company) and so I had to get to the bottom of my brain to remember what the heck was cash surrender value! Good thing my mother knew so she helped me answer my friend's question. Buti na lang! hehe. Hope I was of help Cherry! =)
